Zimecterin Paste can be used to eliminate a variety of parasites with a single dose. It's effective against large and small strongyles, pinworms, ascarids, hairworms and more. It's even effective against small strongyles that are resistant to benzimidazole products, as Zimecterin is not a benzimidazole nor an organophosphate. Pre-filled syringes, complete with weight markings, help make dosing simple and accurate. This product is for use in horses only.
How it Works
Broad-spectrum Control - Zimecterin® (ivermectin paste) 1.87% kills internal parasites in horses of all sizes with a single dose. The product is effective for bots and the arterial stages of S. vulgaris, with a single dose. ZIMECTERIN is a potent antiparasitic agent that is neither a benzimidazole nor an organophosphate.
Special Precautions
ZIMECTERIN® (ivermectin paste) 1.87% has been formulated specifically for use in horses only. This product should not be used in other animal species as severe adverse reactions, including fatalities in dogs, may result.

Environmental Safety: Ivermectin and excreted ivermectin residues may adversely affect aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate ground or surface water. Dispose of the syringe in an approved landfill or by incineration.
Storage
Store at 68° F - 77° F (20-25° C). Excursions between 59° F - 86° F (15-30° C) are permitted.

It is advised that horses undergo routine parasite management measures, with special observation given to mares, foals, and yearlings. Note* It is best for foals to experience their first administration after 6 to 8 weeks of life.
